I am working on a personal photography project that is very near and dear to my heart.

I'm looking for willing participants to pose for photographs which will creatively represent body confidence, body image, body dysmorphia and self esteem. If you are dealing with self esteem issues, have in the past or know anyone who is struggling... this is a great opportunity to freely express yourself.

Light Graffiti + Third Eye Blind = AWESOME!

Last week I had the pleasure of seeing one of my all-time FAVOURITE bands EVER!

The glorious, beautiful, wonderous Third Eye Blind played at the Sound Academy. Although it was slightly difficult to get up-close shots of my imaginary love Mr. Stephen Jenkins, I was able to take tons of my fabulous light graffiti, both during the AMAZING show and on the ride home...

Students of Toronto Arts & Film Festival!

Exciting news!  

I've been asked to participate in George Brown's  Students of Toronto Arts & Film Festival by donating TWO of my Just Because... or light graffiti pieces to their silent auction! George Brown College is hosting a fundraiser in support of the Canadian Red Cross and their relief efforts in Japan.  

I'm SUPER excited to be taking part in a fundraiser with such a great cause! Along with many other talented and generous artists who will be donating artwork, I will have an artist table set up for my photography. The event is on April 15th 2011. 7pm until 10pm. Please show your support by coming to the event! Tickets are only $20! ( $25 at the door)

Oh, how I've missed you, Mr. Blog....

To all my photography fans and blog followers... I have some news....

Not quite sure yet if I'm excited about it or not...

I have joined the dark side. Yes, I am now a member of Facebook.
Even as I type this I can feel the icky-ness in my soul begin to grow. *Sigh* 

For those of you who know me, I was never a big fan of facebook. Mainly because I don't ever feel the need to tell everyone I know exactly what I'm doing at every second of the day. I like to keep my private life private. Plus, I don't think anyone would care to know exactly when I'm straightening my hair or eating tuna for lunch... TMI
I digress...

I now have a facebook page specifically for my photography business. I'm very excited to begin this new adventure in my business as well as keep up with my older sites (ie. this blog)
