Back in the swing of things!

Recently I had the pleasure of working with a plus size clothing store called Maximum Woman.
Above is a shot of yours truly hard at work right in front of the store!

Being a girl with natural curves, I feel especially passionate about promoting a store that includes larger sizes without sacrificing style!

Below is a few shots I took of our gorgeous model, Kristina.

Kristina was an absolute pleasure to work with! She posed like a pro!  Although her stunning beauty definitely caused some rubber-necking, thankfully we avoided any traffic accidents :)

I know, I know...it's been a while since my last post. Don't be mad :(

I've been a busy little bee working on Photoshop courses and other life endeavors.

Jesse's Baby Bump!

Here are a few photos I took of my friend Jesse and her cute 'lil baby bump!

Less than a week after the photo shoot (Ironically, the exact day I finished the photo editing) Jesse gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Charlie Rose. 

I can only hope that I will be able to photograph baby Charlie as she grows in the years to come!

Why, hello! It's been a while!

I've been very busy these past few months taking an online photography class at Durham College. For those of you who wish to know... I passed with flying colours! And I am proud :)

Earlier this month, just after I took my final exam, I visited a friend on a mild winter day to photograph her growing baby bump.

Light Graffiti + Third Eye Blind = AWESOME!

Last week I had the pleasure of seeing one of my all-time FAVOURITE bands EVER!

The glorious, beautiful, wonderous Third Eye Blind played at the Sound Academy. Although it was slightly difficult to get up-close shots of my imaginary love Mr. Stephen Jenkins, I was able to take tons of my fabulous light graffiti, both during the AMAZING show and on the ride home...

Students of Toronto Arts & Film Festival!

Exciting news!  

I've been asked to participate in George Brown's  Students of Toronto Arts & Film Festival by donating TWO of my Just Because... or light graffiti pieces to their silent auction! George Brown College is hosting a fundraiser in support of the Canadian Red Cross and their relief efforts in Japan.  

I'm SUPER excited to be taking part in a fundraiser with such a great cause! Along with many other talented and generous artists who will be donating artwork, I will have an artist table set up for my photography. The event is on April 15th 2011. 7pm until 10pm. Please show your support by coming to the event! Tickets are only $20! ( $25 at the door)

Not quite sure yet if I'm excited about it or not...

I have joined the dark side. Yes, I am now a member of Facebook.
Even as I type this I can feel the icky-ness in my soul begin to grow. *Sigh* 

For those of you who know me, I was never a big fan of facebook. Mainly because I don't ever feel the need to tell everyone I know exactly what I'm doing at every second of the day. I like to keep my private life private. Plus, I don't think anyone would care to know exactly when I'm straightening my hair or eating tuna for lunch... TMI
I digress...

I now have a facebook page specifically for my photography business. I'm very excited to begin this new adventure in my business as well as keep up with my older sites (ie. this blog)
